Jr. Olympics Conditioning Camp

Our annual Junior Olympics Conditioning camp will begin Tuesday, May 15. The first session will begin at 6:30pm at the bottom of the stairs on the west side of the Westminster Recreation Center located at 104th and Sheridan.

All students planning on competing in the Junior Olympics in Dallas are required to attend at least 2 of the 3 conditioning camp sessions. More details will be provided when we meet on Tuesday.

No afternoon practice this Saturday

Since sensei Warren is out of town, there will not be an afternoon practice this Saturday, May 12. Sensei Mike will run the morning practice.

Updated Practice Schedule

Because of a scheduling conflict with the wrestling room at Mountain Range High School, we will now be practicing on Mondays and Wednesdays. Since the wrestling room is not big enough to hold all of our classes, we will have all Beginners(adult and youth) and Juniors practicing from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, and the Advanced Adults from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. All of the advanced juniors competing in the Junior Olympics this summer will be practicing during the entire session from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm since they need as much practice time as possible. Saturday practices will still be held at the recreation center in the racquetball courts from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon (taught by sensei Mike Kannianen) and from 2:00 – 4:00 (taught by sensei Warren Agena) However, there will be no afternoon practice this Saturday April 21, 2012 because most of the instructors will be in Dallas for the Sr. National Judo Championships.

!!! Gym Closed April 3 – May 29 !!!

The recreation center gym will be closed again from April 3 through May 29 to re-install the wood floor. During this time, we will be practicing in the wrestling room at Mountain Range High School (12500 Huron Street Denver, CO 80234).
